Our love for detailed, bullet-point preparations, as well as to open and clear project management and communication is what makes us faster than the competition. Recently we compared similar job sites that we completed, and the other completed by our main competitor. Their price and pace was twice as much and took twice as long than us!

Quality is focal in every little aspect of the job at hand. The mindset of our employees centers on attention. It's our attention to details that allows us to work on a multitude of projects simultaneously, while staying on schedule! We treat every stump as if it were in very own yard!

Hello, my name is Greg Kummer and I am the Owner/Father of the business. We are a small family run business with deep ties to the area. We started our business in 1999 with a goal of providing a quality stump grinding service for a economical price. We treat every yard, every job as if it were our own. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and look forward to working for you on your future stump grinding needs.
Co-Owner - Son
Matt has helped his father, Greg, at Economy Stump since he was 10 years old. After graduating from the University of Maryland in 2016, Matt decided to join Greg in the family business full-time. Matt is here to help!
