How Much Is It?

At Economy Stump Grinding & Removal, we offer free estimates and quantity discounts to ensure you get the best value for your money. To give you an idea of how much your stump grinding and removal will cost, please refer to the pricing guide below:

Stumps 20 inches in diameter or less: $50.00

Stumps 21 to 40 inches in diameter: $2.50 per inch

Stumps 40 inches and above: $3.00 per inch

Minimum Service Call Fee: $75 for all homes

Using the image below as an illustration, notice that the proper place to measure a stump is across the widest portion at the point closest to ground level to account for the flare. Measure at the lowest and widest part for the most accurate estimate.

Take the measurement and multiply it by the appropriate rate ($2.50 per inch for stumps 21 to 40 inches, and $3.00 per inch for stumps 40 inches and above), and you will have a good idea of the cost.

Tips for a More Accurate Estimate

• Cut Stumps Low: Stumps should be cut as close to ground level as possible (6 inches or less). This will lead to a more accurate and often cheaper estimate.
• Measure Correctly: Measure the stump at its widest point, closest to ground level. This ensures the estimate accounts for the full stump size.
• Quantity Discounts: If you have multiple stumps to remove, ask about our quantity discounts to save more.
